On March 4, 2026, the online meeting of Working Group 3 of the Erasmus+ project “Fostering Socially Distanced and Inclusive On-Campus Education in Armenian HEIs (eCAMPUS)” took place.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the organisational issues and the agenda of the upcoming online workshop on “Internal Quality Assurance Standards and Procedures.”

Particular attention was paid to the study of European best practices and their alignment with the approaches currently applied in the higher education system of the Republic of Armenia. It was noted that such discussions create opportunities for universities to carry out benchmarking by comparing their experience with that of leading European universities and by applying effective solutions in the processes of internal quality assurance of digital learning.

It was also emphasised that the upcoming workshop should involve not only the partner universities of the eCAMPUS project but also representatives of other higher education institutions in Armenia, with the aim of exchanging experience, conducting comparative analysis, and disseminating best practices.

During the meeting, the National Centre for Professional Education Quality Assurance (ANQA) presented the proposed format and the preliminary agenda of the seminar. The seminar is scheduled to take place on March 24.

One of the key components of the seminar will be the presentation of European best practices and the discussion of possibilities for their localisation. Participants will be introduced to the experiences of Sweden, Italy, Spain, and Portugal in the field of developing quality assurance systems for digital learning.

The presented experience will serve as a basis for benchmarking, supporting Armenian universities in aligning their procedures with European approaches and in developing more effective mechanisms for the internal quality assurance of digital learning.
